1. Sponsor

The 2026 Cumberland Valley Fall Comfort Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Cumberland Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., a Maryland corporation, with its principal place of business at 11005 Bower Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21740 (“Cumberland Valley” or “Sponsor”). Cumberland Valley is an Independent Trane Dealer. Sponsor holds active HVAC contractor licenses in Maryland (Lic. #019476), Pennsylvania (Lic. #103692), Virginia (Lic. #2705169283), and West Virginia (Lic. #35245).

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on November 1, 2026. Entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on November 30, 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor intends to complete installation of the prize system by December 18, 2026, as described in Section 12 (Scheduling).

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to entrants who meet all of the following requirements:

• Legal resident of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia, physically located in one of those four states at the time of entry.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Homeowner and full-time resident of the home where the prize equipment will be installed.
• Home located within Cumberland Valley’s normal service area.
• Home with an existing HVAC system and installation location that can reasonably accommodate the prize equipment, including existing ductwork and electrical or gas service compatible with a standard system installation.

Employees of Cumberland Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, members of their immediate households, and individuals directly involved in administering the Giveaway are not eligible to enter or win.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal law and the state and local laws of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, including without limitation the lottery/gaming statutes below, each of which defines an illegal lottery as prize, chance, and consideration together. This Giveaway is intentionally structured so that no consideration — no payment, purchase, or substantial obligation beyond submitting a free entry — is required from any entrant in any of the four states:

• Maryland — the anti-lottery provisions of Md. Code Ann., Criminal Law §12-101 et seq.;
• Pennsylvania — the lottery provisions of 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. §5512;
• Virginia — the gaming/lottery provisions of Va. Code Ann. §18.2-325 et seq.; and
• West Virginia — the lottery provisions of W. Va. Code §61-10-11.

4. How to Enter

Eligible participants may enter the Giveaway by completing the official entry form on this page at CVHeating.com, or, at no charge, by mailing their full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address on a plain 3″×5″ card to: 2026 Fall Comfort Giveaway, Cumberland Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, 11005 Bower Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21740, postmarked no later than November 25, 2026 and received no later than December 2, 2026. Online and mail-in entries are given equal weight and equal odds of winning. No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.

Limit one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period regardless of method; multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Entries must contain the information requested on the official entry form. Incomplete, fraudulent, automated, duplicate, or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion.

Information submitted with an entry will be used only for the Giveaway, to administer it, verify eligibility, and contact entrants and the winner, and will not be used for marketing or any other purpose, except as required by law or as described in these Official Rules. It is subject to Cumberland Valley’s Privacy Policy at CVHeating.com/privacy-policy.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a new Trane XR14 A/C or heat pump and matching indoor component, including: standard installation; standard installation materials required for a normal replacement; removal and replacement of the existing qualifying HVAC equipment; and applicable equipment and installation warranties normally provided with the installed system. The specific equipment, system size, configuration, and components will be determined by Sponsor based on the winner’s home, existing system, and installation requirements.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $10,500.

The exact Trane XR14 model, size, configuration, capacity, and matching indoor component will be determined by Cumberland Valley based upon the winner’s home, existing system, equipment availability, manufacturer specifications, and applicable installation requirements.

6. What Is Considered a Standard Installation

The Giveaway is intended to cover a standard HVAC system change-out or replacement of the winner’s existing equipment.

Standard installation generally includes the labor and ordinary materials reasonably necessary to remove the existing qualifying equipment and install the new system in substantially the same location and configuration.

The final determination of what constitutes a standard installation will be made by Sponsor following an inspection of the property and existing HVAC system.

7. Additional Work Not Included

The Giveaway does not include repairs, modifications, upgrades, or additional work beyond what Sponsor determines is reasonably necessary for a standard HVAC system replacement.

Examples of additional work include, but are not limited to:

• Ductwork repair, replacement, resizing, modification, or redesign;
• Installation of additional ductwork, supply registers, or return-air systems;
• Significant changes to the existing equipment location;
• Structural modifications;
• Electrical service or panel upgrades;
• Significant electrical modifications;
• Drainage modifications beyond those normally required for a standard replacement;
• Gas piping modifications;
• Indoor air quality products or accessories not included with the prize;
• Zoning systems or zoning modifications;
• Building modifications or improvements necessary because of existing conditions;
• Correction of pre-existing code violations or unsafe conditions unrelated to the standard HVAC replacement; or
• Any other work Sponsor determines to be outside the scope of a standard equipment change-out.

No additional work will be performed unless it is approved by the winner in writing and paid for by the winner at Sponsor’s standard rates.

8. Property Inspection

Prior to installation, Sponsor will inspect the winning property to verify:

• Eligibility;
• Equipment sizing and application;
• Existing equipment and ductwork conditions;
• Accessibility;
• Installation requirements; and
• Whether the installation qualifies as a standard system replacement.

If the property cannot safely or legally accommodate the prize equipment without additional modifications, Sponsor will explain the available options, including any additional work the winner may choose to pay for under Section 7, before installation.

9. Winner Selection

Following the close of the Giveaway, one (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

The potential winner will be selected on or about December 3, 2026, and will be contacted using the contact information provided with the entry, and may be required to provide proof of identity, age, property ownership, and eligibility, and, if required by Sponsor, to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release.

The potential winner must respond to Sponsor’s notification, and return any required verification or documents, within seven (7) business days of Sponsor’s first notification attempt.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within those seven (7) business days, declines the prize, does not satisfy the eligibility requirements, or is otherwise disqualified under these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn at random from the remaining eligible entries, subject to the same requirements and response time.

10. Prize Conditions

The prize:

• Has no cash redemption value;
• May not be exchanged for cash;
• Is non-transferable unless otherwise approved in writing by Sponsor;
• Must be installed by Cumberland Valley Heating & Air Conditioning; and
• Applies only to the eligible residential property approved by Sponsor.

Limit one (1) prize per household.

Any federal, state, or local taxes associated with acceptance of the prize that are not expressly included as part of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Sponsor may be required to report the value of the prize to taxing authorities. As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner must provide any tax documentation Sponsor requests for that purpose, such as an IRS Form W-9.

Any amount paid by the winner for additional work under Section 7 is separate from the prize and is not refundable or redeemable for cash after the winner authorizes the work, except as required by applicable law or Sponsor’s written agreement.

11. Warranty

The installed Trane HVAC equipment will receive the applicable Trane manufacturer warranty for which the equipment and installation qualify.

The installation will also be covered by Sponsor’s standard applicable installation/workmanship warranty in effect at the time of installation. All manufacturer warranty registration requirements and limitations will apply.

Warranty coverage does not extend to pre-existing ductwork, electrical systems, structures, accessories, or other components that are not part of the new HVAC equipment or standard installation unless otherwise stated in writing.

12. Scheduling

Sponsor intends to complete installation of the prize system by December 18, 2026. Installation will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time following winner verification, property inspection, equipment selection, and (if applicable) written approval of any additional work under Section 7.

Sponsor is not responsible for delays caused by equipment availability, weather, permitting, circumstances beyond its reasonable control, or conditions at the winner’s property. If installation cannot reasonably be completed by December 18, 2026 for reasons beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor will work with the winner to schedule installation as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.

13. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s first name, city or locality, photographs, video, likeness, and images of the installation for reasonable advertising, promotional, social media, and publicity purposes related to the Giveaway, without additional compensation.

14. Facebook and Trane Disclaimer

This Giveaway is sponsored and administered solely by Cumberland Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, an Independent Trane Dealer. Trane U.S. Inc. and its affiliates are not sponsors or administrators of this Giveaway. The Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta. If Sponsor promotes this Giveaway on its Facebook page, any information a participant provides in connection with that promotion is provided to Sponsor and not to Facebook or Meta.

15. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who attempts to tamper with the entry process, submit fraudulent entries, interfere with the administration of the Giveaway, or violate these Official Rules.

Sponsor reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, postpone, or terminate the Giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the Giveaway from being administered as intended.

Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility, equipment selection, installation requirements, interpretation of these Official Rules, and administration of the Giveaway will be final to the extent permitted by law.

16. Release and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Cumberland Valley Heating & Air Conditioning, Trane U.S. Inc., and Facebook and Meta, and each of their owners, employees, representatives, affiliates, and agents, from all claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, use, or installation of the prize, except to the extent such claims cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

17. Governing Law

This Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, where Sponsor is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Maryland — except that, for any entrant residing in Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia, any mandatory consumer-protection or anti-lottery provision of that entrant’s home state that cannot lawfully be waived or superseded will govern with respect to that entrant, to the extent required by that state’s law.

18. Acceptance of Official Rules

By entering the 2026 Cumberland Valley Fall Comfort Giveaway, each entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules and Terms and Conditions.
